We are pleased to introduce Ludwig Oechslin’s due ore mese –
two time zones + date – now available for the first time as a series-produced model in the ochs line by ochs und junior.
This model displays two time zones simultaneously via a cleverly designed hour hand, setting it clearly apart from previous watches by our brand. It is powered by the UN-118 caliber from Ulysse Nardin, offering a 60-hour power reserve.
The due ore with ETA movement has been part of the ochs line since 2022, offering a dual time zone display. With the UN-118 movement, the new due ore mese builds on this concept by adding a date indication.
ochs und junior presents this timepiece – a balanced fusion of elegance, function, and individuality – as a new model in its ochs line. The 42 mm case is made from grade 5 titanium. The round-ground, PVD-coated dial in brown (Pantone 7553 C) subtly shifts in tone depending on the light. The discs for the second time zone, date, seconds, and power reserve are tone-on-tone, creating a calm and cohesive aesthetic.
Indices, hands, Arabic numerals, and display dots are finished in a warm sandy tone (Pantone 7506 C) – a subtle contrast that naturally unites function and design.
For nighttime readability, Superluminova is applied to indices, hands, and Arabic numerals.
The watch is delivered with an Ecopell leather strap in Coconut, available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Both strap and ochs und junior leather pouch are handmade
by Sabina Brägger.
