Terms and Conditions

  1. Ordering

You may place your order in person, by phone, by email, or through our website. As our watches are produced in small series or as individual pieces, delivery times may vary. We will inform you of the estimated production time by email or phone. All orders are subject to acceptance by ochs und junior AG, full payment of a 50% deposit of the purchase price, and product availability. Orders are binding upon our confirmation. Cancellation is only possible within 48 hours of placing the order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders and to refund any payments already made, in particular in cases of outstanding deposits, product unavailability, or legal restrictions. For custom-made watches, delivery dates are non-binding estimates. Delays do not constitute grounds for withdrawal, provided delivery is still forthcoming. Should delivery become permanently impossible, the 50% deposit already paid will be refunded. Payment may be made by credit card via our website, via secure payment link (Stripe), via Saferpay link (on request), or by bank transfer.

  1. Prices

All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF). For deliveries within Switzerland, prices include statutory VAT (currently 8.1%), unless otherwise stated. For international deliveries, prices are calculated without Swiss VAT (export prices). Our VAT number is CHE-113.085.271 VAT. Prices in Euros or USD are available on request.

  1. Delivery, Shipping, and Customs

Deliveries within Switzerland are charged at CHF 15. For international shipments, shipping costs amount to CHF 150 per transit. For new watches, shipping costs are generally included in the purchase price. All shipments are sent exclusively as insured courier deliveries (e.g. FedEx or DHL Express) or, within Switzerland, as registered postal parcels. Risk passes to the customer upon handover of the shipment to the customer or an authorised recipient. Signature upon delivery constitutes confirmation of proper delivery and fulfilment of contract. Delivery times are exclusive of delays caused by customs clearance or public holidays. For international deliveries, Swiss VAT does not apply. Any import duties, customs fees, and taxes are to be borne by the customer.

  1. Warranty, Servicing, and Repairs

The entire watch carries a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not apply to normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches or signs of use), damage caused by improper use (e.g. impact, moisture, etc.), or interference by unauthorised third parties. Unauthorised persons are defined as any individuals or companies not expressly recognised as service partners of ochs und junior AG. Any intervention, opening, or repair carried out by unauthorised third parties will result in the forfeiture of all warranty claims. In the event of a warranty claim, we reserve the right to repair the watch or individual components, or to replace them with equivalent parts. Repairs outside the warranty period are subject to charge. A cost estimate will be provided prior to any work being carried out. Shipping costs during the warranty period are covered by ochs und junior AG. Outside the warranty period, these costs are borne by the customer.

  1. Returns

The right of return applies exclusively to standard production watches. Custom-made or personalised watches are excluded from return. The following conditions apply to eligible returns:

  • The return request (by email: [email protected]) must be submitted within 10 calendar days of delivery
  • The watch must be unworn, unused, and free of any signs of use
  • The original packaging and all accessories must be complete and undamaged

Upon inspection of the returned item, the purchase price of the watch will be refunded. Costs already incurred, in particular shipping costs, customs fees, taxes, or other charges such as private credit card fees, will not be reimbursed and are borne entirely by the customer. We reserve the right to decline returns or to charge reasonable handling fees if the above conditions are not met.

  1. Liability

ochs und junior AG accepts no liability for damages arising from improper or non-contractual use, in particular through improper storage, use, repairs by unauthorised third parties, external influences (e.g. impact or moisture), force majeure, or official orders. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains reserved to the extent permitted by law.

  1. Final provisions

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
